  9. Thank you trying WinCharging.  It's the newest and best 
  10. way credit card users can manage their charge accounts.
  11.  
  12. This is the shareware edition of WinCharging.  It is a 
  13. full-featured, fully functional program, and it is 
  14. identical to the standard edition except for the inclusion
  15. of the shareware reminder screen you see when you exit the
  16. program.
  17.  
  18. The license you agree to by evaluating WinCharging allows
  19. you to test it without charge for 30 days.  If after that
  20. period you decide to keep using WinCharging, you must 
  21. purchase it.  For more information about WinCharging's 
  22. shareware license, read LICENSE.TXT.

  25.                        INSTALLATION
  26.  
  27. To ensure a perfect installation, make sure all of the 
  28. files listed in CONTENTS.TXT appear on your shareware 
  29. distribution floppy disk.  If any are missing, contact 
  30. your shareware distributor immediately.

  32. If you downloaded WINCRG10.ZIP and expanded it on your 
  33. hard disk, make sure all of the files are present.  You 
  34. can then copy them to a floppy disk to create an 
  35. installation disk or simply install WinCharging from 
  36. that directory, which is considerably faster.
  37.  
  38. To install, start Windows.  Open the File Menu and click 
  39. Run.  Put the installation disk in your a: drive and enter 
  40. A:SETUP on Run's command line.  If you put the disk in 
  41. your b: drive, enter B:SETUP.  If you're installing from
  42. a directory on your hard drive, enter the full path plus 
  43. SETUP (for example: C:\TEMPDIR\SETUP).

  45. The installation procedure checks to ensure you have 
  46. Windows 3.1 or later and that your system meets certain 
  47. other requirements.  If all is in order, it displays the
  48. default directory for the WinCharging files.
  49.  
  50. You can put WinCharging's files in any directory you wish,
  51. but as with any other major program, the files should be 
  52. placed in their own directory, and that directory should be
  53. right off the root directory for optimum efficiency 
  54. (e.g., C:\WINCHARG).

  57.                     GETTING STARTED
  58.  
  59. WinCharging comes with a special online Help file called 
  60. MeFirst!.  It's easy to read and comes with loads of 
  61. graphics to simplify the setup process.  When you start 
  62. WinCharging the first time, it asks you if you would like to
  63. see MeFirst!.  Reply yes.
  64.  
  65. With both WinCharging and MeFirst! open, you can simply
  66. <Alt>+<Tab> back and forth, first reading MeFirst! about 
  67. how to do something, then switching back to WinCharging to 
  68. actually do it.

  70. When you no longer need MeFirst! you can delete it by 
  71. simply selecting a command found on the File Menu.

  74.                  ORDERING WINCHARGING
  75.  
  76. WinCharging comes in two editions:  standard and deluxe.
  77.  
  78. The deluxe edition allows you to have any number of 
  79. userfiles, each capable of handling up to twelve credit 
  80. card accounts; permits password protection and file 
  81. encryption; and comes with the AutoLoad Override.
  82.  
  83. The standard edition is the same as the shareware edition,
  84. but without the reminder screens.  It manages a single
  85. userfile and a maximum of four credit card accounts.  It 
  86. comes with no password protection or file encryption and
  87. does not come with the AutoLoad Override capability.

  92. CREDIT CARD ORDERS

  94. Public (software) Library (PsL) handles ALL credit card 
  95. orders for My Little Realm Enterprises.  If you wish to 
  96. purchase WinCharging with a check or money order, see

  109. PURCHASE.TXT and be sure to include your credit card 
  110. number, the expiration date, the edition of WinCharging

  113. to sign the order form as well.

  129. number.  New Jersey residents must add sales tax.
